This is a Cardboard walking doll. The sweet little girl is wearing a blue dress, pink and white pinafore, and a pink hat. She is holding her doll under her arm. The doll was made to have a bifurcated stick inserted in its back so that the toy could be walked on revolving feet. It will compliment your home or nursery decor whether shabby chic, farmhouse, country, primitive, rustic, or ????
Someone has repaired the paper doll by stapling it in several places. The doll was also bent at the neck which caused it to rip on one side.
The patent was filed on November 11, 1920 and published May 31, 1921. Patent #1,379,740.
Approximately 13” tall and 6.5” wide.
