Antique Folding 24” Wood Ruler with Brass Parts - No. 68 Carpenter Folding Ruler - Unmarked

Beautiful and functional boxwood 24” ruler with brass fittings. The only markings besides the numbering is ’No. 68.’ This is in reasonably good condition and was not cleaned. The finish on the outside is original and there is a little wear. All the rulings are readable. The brass has some staining. The inside pins are present. A perfect gift for the handyman or collector in your life or use it to compliment your home decor whether MCM, shabby chic, farmhouse, country, man cave, primitive, rustic, or ????

It is interesting that this ruler online is marked with different companies: Stanley, Chapman Stevens, Upson Nut. My guess is that one company made them and marked the rulers according to the distributor.
