1930s Little Boy with Duckling Figurine - Made in Japan

This is such a sweet and innocent little scene! The toddler, in his blue and yellow pajamas, is reaching out his hand to a curious yellow duck. The little duck is looking back at the little boy curiously.

Approximately 5.5” long, 5.25” tall, and 2.75” wide.
Unfortunately, the little boy’s pinky finger is broken (discounted accordingly). There is some crazing on the piece and the paint is worn in a few spots, but the piece is otherwise in good condition.

1921–1941: Goods destined for the US export market were required to be marked "Japan" or "Made in Japan". Pre-1926 pieces were hand-painted, while later pieces were stenciled.

Most items in my shop are vintage and are not brand new and come from estate sales. The items may show minor age-related wear and/or minor flaws consistent with the date of manufacture (please be sure to check photos carefully as they are part of the description).
