Art Deco Bronze Elephant and Green Onyx Stone Valet or Pen Tray
A beautiful bronze or elephant caught in motion with white tusks and his head raised high. The elephant is mounted on a beautiful piece of green onyx stone that has veins of reddish brown running through it. This is a large piece (at 10 1/8” wide it is much larger than other pieces I have seen online) and the dish area of the stone could easily be used as a vanity or valet, or to hold your keys.

Unfortunately, the stone has been chipped around the edges over the years and it is discounted accordingly. Some look like large flakes had broken off. I have tried to take pictures of the damage, however, the natural variations in the stone make the chips less noticeable.

Elephant is approximately 6” long and 4.75” tall.
Stone os 10 ⅛” wide, 7 ⅜” deep and ⅞” thick.
Weighs 5 lb, 6.6 oz.
The tusks are loose and may be removed for shipping.

Most items in my shop are vintage and are not brand new and come from estate sales. The items may show minor age-related wear and/or minor flaws consistent with the date of manufacture (please be sure to check photos carefully as they are part of the description).
