MCM Hostess Set from Italy - 1960s

Vintage hostess serving set from Italy mounted in a shadow box with a mustard yellow background.
These pieces reflect the spirit of the renaissance and their design contains its symbols,
Sugar Shovel - Romulus and Remus the founder of Rome and their Wolfmother
Olive 3-prong fork - Winged Lion of St. Mark, (the stately lion of Venice)
Shell Spoon - the emperor Julius Caesar
Olive 2-prong Fork - Giglio (lily) of Florence
Small Spoon - fierce griffin is from Perugia, cene of the tragic love of Romeo and Juliet
Butter Knife - the handsome Apollo, god of the sun poetry music philosophy and the art of healing
Nut Pick - Silver Plate/Bonus piece

Pieces range in size from 3.75” to 6.25” long
Unfortunately, they were glued to the shadow box and I am unclear if the glue can be removed.
The faux wood and gold shadow box is 13 ⅜” wide and 7 ⅜” tall.

Most items in my shop are vintage and are not brand new and come from estate sales. The items may show minor age-related wear and/or minor flaws consistent with the date of manufacture (please be sure to check photos carefully as they are part of the description).
