Vintage Hand Carved Asian Wooden Buddhist Figures - Set of 2

Set of 2 beautiful Asian hand carved wooden figures I think are associated with Buddhism.I have done my best to identify the figures, but my apologies if I am incorrect.

1-The starving Buddha: A smiling, emaciated ascetic old man carved out of a red wood. Approximately 5” tall and 2” wide. No chips or cracks.
2- The Wandering Monk. Approximately 4.5” tall and 1” wide. Top of staff or sword is broken (see pictures).

Most items in my shop are vintage and are not brand new and come from estate sales. The items may show minor age-related wear and/or minor flaws consistent with the date of manufacture (please be sure to check photos carefully as they are part of the description).
