Vintage Redware MG Moriage and Brown Glaze Ornamental China Teapot - Brown with Gold Gilt - Made in Japan

A beautiful small hand painted ornamental earthenware china teapot in excellent condition. It is perfect for a single cup of tea. The color is a dark brown tortoise shell with a painted floral gold design that includes blue, pink, white & orange in the pattern. I think this is from the 1950s. Perfect for the tea lover or to compliment your home decor whether MCM, shabby chic, farmhouse, country, primitive, rustic, or ????

Approximately 4.25” tall, 3.5” wide and 6” from spout to handle.
No crazing in glaze, no chips or cracks.
Stamped on bottom: Made in Japan, and an entwined M and G
