Vintage Eagle and Hounds Wall-Mounted Pocket Match or Key Holder

This delightful floral, eagle and dog inspired Victorian era wall pocket was designed to hold matches for the oil lamps but the wall pocket is also great for keys, coins or as a small planter style bowl - each side is textured to strike matches on. It is meant to be mounted on the wall, but can also sit on a table or shelf. This delightful form easily repurposes into small decorative storage unit for keys, jewelry and other small treasures.
I believe this is a vintage reproduction of a Victorian era pocket match holder.
Approximately 8.75” tall, 6” wide and 2” deep.
