Pair of MCM Bronze Cat Sculptures

Vintage aged patina bronze sculptures of two very inquisitive cats. One is standing on all fours and looking up towards the viewer while the other cat is crouched downward as if looking for food, treats, and or to pounce! Each cat is heavy and substantial. They have very smooth bodies but with more modern, almost brutalist, appendages, and pleasant faces. The feline pieces are a must have for any cat lover or art enthusiast looking to add an elegant touch to their collection.

There are some surface scratches on the pieces. This set is truly unique as the nose/mouth of the cat looking up seems to have been imperfectly cast and it is missing details of its nose and mouth. I have discounted my price accordingly. (These sculptures are being offered on other sites for $250- $425.)

The pieces are each approximately 10.5” long, 6.75-7” tall and 2.25” wide. Each weighs about 2.5 lb.

Props are not included but may be available in other listings.

Most items in my shop are vintage and are not brand new and come from estate sales. The items may show minor age-related wear and/or minor flaws consistent with the date of manufacture (please be sure to check photos carefully as they are part of the description).
