Large Vtg 2-Handled Serving Tray - Aluminum Embossed Floral

I have always thought hammered aluminum pieces to be beautiful works of art. This lovely hand forged aluminum tray with a floral design has 2 sturdy handles with geometric designs. The sides are bent up and have a ruffled edge at the corner. It can be used as a serving tray, centerpiece jewelry holder, trinket holder, fruit bowl, or ????

There are scratches/scuffs commiserate with age.

Likely from the 1940s or 1950s
