A beautiful clear glass bottle with crosshatch design that was made by Owen Illinois for the Nehi Bottle Co. As an added bonus there is an old starch metal sprinkler inserted in the top (it seems stuck in the bottle). It is a unique combination that will compliment your home, kitchen or laundry room decor, whether MCM, shabby chic, farmhouse, country, romantic, bohemian, rustic, primitive, or ????
Bottle:
Approximately 12” tall and 3.5” wide.
Embossed on neck: Part-T-Pak, Reg. Us. Pat. Off.
Embossed on bottom: Property of Nehi Bott. Co, 4552-C; 23, Owens Illinois Logo, 48, Capacity One Quart, Duraglas
Based on information from https://glassbottlemarks.com/owens-illinois-glass-company, I think this bottle is from the 1940s (likely 1948) as it is using the Diamond-I logo with an O imposed which was used until 1954 and Duraglas (patented on September 23, 1941.)
This particular bottle likely held White Soda, but without the label I cannot confirm it.
Starch Sprinkler:
Eastern Tool and Manufacturing Co. was granted the patent 2071101 for the ‘Sprinkler for Receptacles’ on 2-16-1937. https://patents.google.com/patent/US2071101A/en
