Early 1900s Duncan & Miller Glass Co. Oval Mardi Gras or Empire Serving Bowl

$49.50 $55.00

This unusually shaped serving EAPG bowl was part of popular No. 42 line (aka Empire or Mardi Gras) introduced in 1899. It is a gorgeous bowl with scalloped edges and ribs/columns and zippers/ladder design. It looks like someone took a circular bowl and gently pulled out the sides to elongate it.

The bowl is also well made with ⅜” thick glass
Approximately 4” tall, 11” wide, 6.25” deep.
There are some tiny chips at one end (see pictures)
Circa 1899-1920.
