Primitive #7 Flat Iron - Sad Iron with handle

At 4 lb., this little flat iron can be used as a doorstop, book end, paperweight, or even for arm exercises when you take a break from your computer! I am unclear as to whether the original handle also included a wood piece. It has rusted, which gives it a lovely primitive look, is overall in good shape and is ready to compliment your home decor whether shabby chic, farmhouse, country, rustic, man cave, or ????

I think at one time the company name was imprinted below the #7 and the first 4 letters look to be ‘LAVA,’ however, it is no longer legible.
Approximately 5.5” long, 3.75” tall, and 3.75” wide

Most items in my shop are vintage and are not brand new and come from estate sales.
