MCM 1960s Handmade Navy Coat and Hat for Doll

A well made navy jacket with silver buttons and a matching hat with a navy grosgrain ribbon. I think the material is a polyester blend.
I think this may have originally been made for a 16” doll and think the coat would fit an 18” doll, though I am not as sure about the hat.
Jacket is approximately 10” from sleeve to sleeve and 7.25” long. Waist is approximately 10” circumference. Back of hat is 4.24” from the side seam. Please look carefully at the pictures and review the measurements to confirm this will fit your doll.
This came in a box with dolls and doll shoes from the 1950s-60.
