This white sheep with a black head penny bank looks like it is headed to market. It will compliment your home decor, whether shabby chic, farmhouse or ????
The still coin bank is made of cast iron with the two halves held together with a flat head screw on the side. The body of the sheep shows details of the sheep's curly fur and the piece also shows its ears and details of its face. It is in good shape though the paint is worn in places and there is some light rust on the outside of the piece. The inside is completely covered in a layer or rust.
Approximately 5” long and 3.25” tall and it weighs 15.6 oz.!
This is definitely an old piece. However I cannot confirm if it is a John Wright bank from 1970 or if it is even older.
Please see my other listings for more still penny banks.
