This charming MCM Robins Egg Blue pitcher with hand painted tulips is a delightful piece of 1950s USA pottery. The raised "USA" letters on the base bear testament to its origin. With its round shape and ice lip, it is a piece that blends function and charm and is ideal for serving beverages or as a standout piece on any shelf or table.
The round pitcher is approximately 7” tall, 5.5” wide and 7.5” form spout to handle.
No chips or cracks. There is one small blemish on the side (see pictures).
“The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company (A&P to most of us) gave them away as premiums to encourage customer loyalty. … They’re almost always listed as Cronin Pottery “Blue Tulip” pattern, perhaps because the mark on the bottom was similar to a mark used by Ohio’s Cronin Pottery. But researchers now believe the pieces were made by Cameron Clay Products of West Virginia.” - https://janvierroad.wordpress.com/2015/08/27/so-is-it-cronin-or-cameron/
