1940s Lady’s Choice Pure Plum Preserves Jar

This interesting preserves jar came from the estate of an antique dealer. The original plum preserves label is protected by a piece of saran wrap. The lid is 2 parts - a glass lid and an aluminum overlaid. On the aluminum lid is embossed, “The Presto jar and closure are approved by the Good Housekeeping Institute.”
The mark on the bottom is that of Latchford-Marble Glass Co., c.1939-1957
The jar is approximately 6.25” tall and 4” wide.
No chips or cracks.
