Rare Sonny Boy by Annie Benson Muller - 1931 Promotional Calendar

This is an absolutely beautiful promotional item from the Washington Market in Douglas, Wyoming. The picture is of a happy toddler holding his ball and smiling. I love the pure joy in his eyes. Below the picture is a small embossed card that says ‘Each Hour a Pearl’ that opens to reveal a 1931 calendar. The picture is matted in 2 shades of green card stock. There is a bit of wear and tear around the corners and a few age spots (see pictures), but this has survived amazingly well considering it is more than 90 years old!

A search for the artist reveals she was quite talented in painting babies and children, however, I cannot find this particular print.

With mats: 10 ⅞” wide and 15” tall. Picture is approximately an 8x10”
