Antique rocking doll bed that folds up accordion style. It is big enough to hold an American Girl doll (see pictures, doll not included). Two slats on the bottom are broken---one is taped and someone tried to glue the second one (see pictures) and I think both can be easily repaired. The top corners on one side have also been glued (see pictures).
The picture on one side is a portrait of a little girl with blue ribbons in her brown hair. The picture on the other side is a toddler with a spotted dog.
Label on the inside says “Patented by C. A. Fenner, Nov. 11th, 1873 and July 12th, 1881. Manufactured by I. D. Clift and Co. at Mystic River, Conn.”
Folded, approximately 11.5” wide, 12.25” tall and 6” long. It extends to 23” when open.
“Isaac D. Clift & Co. label inside. Cradle, fair condition; label, fragile. Manufactured 1883-1889 at W. Mystic after Fenner sold business (from another bed shown on the Mystic History website: http://www.mystichistory.org/collectionsexhibit/vex55/04E909ED-6297-4F67-BF58-969256779099.htm)
