Two Handpainted Decorative Asian Themed Plates Nippon and Moriage

The first is a 6” plate depicting a boat floating down the river. Blue border with moriage. Maker’s Mark: Hand paint S&K Nippon c. 1891-1921
The second is a 7.25” moriage plate with a bird (possibly chicken) sitting in a flowering tree. Maker’s mark is a paper label that says ‘Wales, Made in Japan, Reg. US Pat Off.’ c.1960s

Most items in my shop are vintage and are not brand new and come from estate sales. The items may show minor age-related wear and/or minor flaws consistent with the date of manufacture (please be sure to check photos carefully as they are part of the description).
