This is a lovely cranberry pitcher. There are no chips or cracks in the piece and any inconsistencies were part of the glass making process. This includes the dark flecks on the bottom where the glass was broken from its base.
I am not sure of the exact age of the piece. I bought quite a few pieces at a moving sales 8 years ago and was told they had belonged to his grandparents. As they had made their fortune around 1905, I am assuming these pieces have to be from the 1950s or earlier. This piece is not marked, but other pieces from the same collection have Pilgrim Glass and Fenton labels.
Approximately 3 5/8” tall and 4” at its widest point. Base is approximately 2.5” wide.
As a child, I loved going with my mama and grandparents to yard sales, estate sales, and thrift stores as we shared the love of sifting for treasures. That tradition has been continued into my adulthood and I am honored to share my unique finds with you.
Most items in my shop are vintage and are not brand new and come from estate sales. The items may show minor age-related wear and/or minor flaws consistent with the date of manufacture (please be sure to check photos carefully as they are part of the description). I do my best to describe any imperfections. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!
