Gray's Pottery Blue Bands Casserole Dish and Lid made in Stoke-on-Trent England, 1930s

This lovely Grays Pottery casserole dish and lid were made in 1934 are in good condition. The handle of the top had been broken and re glued, but is almost unnoticeable. The inside has gradients of blue painted while the outside has more striking blue lines. There is some crazing around the handle on the lid (see pictures for details)

Mark reads ‘Hand-painted, Gray’s Pottery, Made in Stoke-on-trent England.’ and the number A1922 is painted on the dish in gold. Imprinted on the bottom is ‘Patent applied for, Pat. No. 75736(?)...it is hard to read the number! Based on the mark, this piece is from 1934 and is THE representative for the pattern at https://grayspottery.co.uk/pattern/a1922/ (Yes, I submitted the pictures to the site for verification.)

10” across with handles and 8” without. With lid, it is about 5.5 inches tall.
