This is a specially designed china pattern by Myotts Royal Crown Staffordshire England "The Crowning" to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VIII in 1937. They are a lovely white china with a navy and gold design.
Maker’s Mark reads ‘Myotts Royal Crown, Staffordshire England, “The Crowning’ Another mark says HW324.
Plates are 6 ⅜” wide. No cracks or chips, but there is crazing on the pieces.
