Two vintage liquid embroidery painted embroider king-sized pillowcases

When I found these 2 pillowcases at an estate sale, it brought back memories of watching my grandma making things with liquid embroidery.

The first pillowcase features the boy rabbit giving the girl rabbie a medal ‘For Distinguished Service. The second pillowcase shows the boy rabbit receiving the ‘World’s Greatest Lover’ and a Loving Cup trophy. This pillow case may not be completed as the girl bunny is not finished.

There is a faint blue stain on the first pillowcase (pictures show the front and back of that stain). The second pillowcase has a smudge that will likely come out once it is washed (see picture).

As a child, I loved going with my mama and grandparents to yard sales, estate sales, and thrift stores as we shared the love of sifting for treasures. That tradition has been continued into my adulthood and I am honored to share my unique finds with you.
